Cross Stitch Pattern Packet

This pattern was charted for 1 thread over 2, for 36 count linen.  It’s a large beautiful chart, and is quite special to me…  I certainly hope you find joy in this piece as well.  I chose 36 count as my go to fabric on this one, and also am stitching this with Valdani Pearl 12- M90- Chocolate Brownies!!!  It’s just perfect for this design and is working out fantastic on this count. Of course- we all have our fabric and thread go to’s- so by all means- Choose your favorite count of fabric- and enjoy stitching some lovely little x’s and some straight or backstitches too!!  The colors and symbols are clear and easy to follow, as I chose one variegated color for this design- so for me- there weren’t any color changes!!!  Just keep threading that needle!!!

Basic cross stitch x’s are used throughout this entire piece, as well as some back stitching, as noted on the chart.  I did ALL of my cross stitches first- then went back through- traced my grass lines ( backstitches )- with a pencil – on my linen- and followed those lines with basic straight and backstitches to create the thick wavy grass.  This was completely charted in DMC but I chose a gorgeous Valdani Pearl 12 thread to use..  I can only imagine the fabric and thread colors you are all going to come up with- as there are endless possibilities!!!  I can’t wait to see….
