New for Spring & Summer of 2016- I'm pleased to introduce "Sparrow Garden Journal" -Cross Stitch Pattern- Instant Download Version. Inspired by many of the pretties that this time of year brings...  This Is For The Instant Download Version. 

This pattern is to be stitched with 1 threads over 2, on a coffee stained 32 count Linen. Just gorgeous!!! You can of course choose any linen you wish, however, keep in mind, that if you use a smaller or a larger count of linen, the finished size will change. I also extra dyed this linen to give it an aged appearance, before and then once done with the total project. Again, this too is a preference of choice.

Basic cross stitch x’s are used throughout this entire piece, as well as some back stitching, as noted on the chart. One more note, as you get to the color chart, I’ve noted the charted DMC colors, and the actual colors and brands that I stitched the piece with. By all means- this is all yours and you, so have some fun with colors!!!

I stitched my model for this pattern- on 30 count linen- with 1 thread over 1, however- I’ve charted it for 32 count, stitching 1 over 2. You’ll definitely end up with a different finished size, as noted on the chart- if you choose another size/ count of linen. The total finished size of the design as charted is 5.44 x 7.31 inches, however- my finished model- stitched on the 3o count, 1 over 1, came out to be 3 1/8th by 4 inches. There is a free calculator to figure out your sizes online. If you need help finding it- message me!!!

I’ve included my finishing instructions for turning your piece into a fabric covered journal, sized 6” x 8”. It’s on the page- following the chart color codes/key. If you’ve any questions- just give me a shout.
