New for the winter of 2017, as a public release, "Winter Solstice"-
CROSS STITCH Pattern- Instant Download.

This pattern is a computer generated version of one of my paintings- Winter Solstice. For the first time- I chose to release a pattern- without stitching the model, as time ran short for the season- and I didn’t want to wait another whole year 😊 So- with that in mind- the chart should go quite smoothly- as I”ve gone over it with a fine tooth comb, however- if you have any issues- by all means- please get in touch with me…

I charted this for 40 count- and suggested 2 over 2- for a thread count- to make sure that everyone gets enough thread- and doesn’t end up short- while stitching- however- if stitching on 40 count- usually- most prefer to stitch it one over 2. It’s really all a matter of preference… I am showing on the cover- the computer generated cross stitch view- photoshopped onto a nice background- so you can see what it might possibly look like stitched.. Then – of course- that all depends on what kind of linen you choose… Of course- again- as always- your linen choices- are 100% yours and personal.. I love that about cross stitch!!! 

Basic cross stitch x’s are used throughout this entire piece, as well as some back stitching, and a couple tiny French knots as noted on the chart.

One more note, as you get to the color chart/key, I highly suggest my favorite colors- shown- in the Gentle Arts Threads!!! I charted the design using DMC, and then marked down my Overdyed Thread choices next to the DMC colors. By all means- this is all yours and you, so have some fun with colors!!!

Finishing for this chart is entirely up to you…

I don’t wish for anyone to “adapt” this cross stitch pattern into any other pattern on their own, as it is my design and I will be releasing future patterns using this, including a punch needle design and possible a hooked rug pattern. P>S>... If you are buying the instant download- and are printing.. I would recommend choosing custom print size- and 100%.. This way- it will fill your paper more- with less paper border...
