New for 2015, 1872 Horse & Farmhouse-Cross Stitch Pattern- Instant Download
This Is For The INSTANT DOWNLOAD Version. If you have no way of printing your own patterns, by all means- please just contact me, and I'll be happy to help, in getting you a printed and mailed version.
This pattern was stitched with 2 threads over 2, on a coffee stained 32 count Belfast Linen. Just gorgeous!!! You can of course choose any linen you wish, however, keep in mind, that if you use a smaller or a larger count of linen, the finished size will change. I also extra dyed this linen to give it an aged appearance, before and then once done with the total project. Again, this too is a preference of choice.
Basic cross stitch x’s are used throughout this entire piece, as noted on the chart.
I finished this particular project up- as a simple wall hanging. There are SO many finishing options for this piece. It’s a rather larger piece, but if do stitch on higher count fabrics, you will have a smaller finished item to work with. Again- all matters of preference, and lots of fun!!!
One more note, as you get to the color chart/key, please note that I stitched this piece mainly with Gentle Arts Threads!!! I charted the design using DMC, and then marked down my Gentle Art Thread choices next to the DMC colors. By all means- this is all yours and you, so have some fun with colors!!! Approximate amounts of threads have been given, however, you may or may not use more or less. Do keep ample of each color and lot on hand.
Please note!!! I don’t wish for anyone to “adapt” this cross stitch pattern into any other pattern on their own, as it is my design and I will be releasing future patterns using this, including a punch needle design and possible a hooked rug pattern. If you’ve any questions regarding this- please do let me know….
Thanks So Much & Happy Stitching!!!
