Let me introduce- my newest pattern- “Little White Church-Winter.
I have been waiting so long to turn my Little White Church pattern ( original was on Amazing Grace printed linens and it was a springy summery landscape ), into a Winter Wonderland FOREVER!!! And I’ve finally done it… The little church has undergone a new paint job- and it’s landscaping has some updates as well, including snowy covered trees, cardinals, and even a snowman!! While the linens are not available anymore- you'll still be able to find just the perfect linen for you- just about anywhere and still get a gorgeous stitched piece of art- you'll just absolutely love!!! I hope you just love this one as much as I do…
On occasion- I do offer Printed Linen's that are fantastic as a background for this model- however- at this time- we are on a break.. It's time to rest and do some creative artistic new things for Kaniki's..
This pattern was charted for 2 thread over 2, on a coffee stained 32 count Linen. I’ve also included an alphabet at the top right of the chart.. This is optional to stitch- or you can use it for the letters and numbers to personalize your piece. Stitch as is- move somewhere else- or use elements from it. It’s all up to you!!! I hope you can have some fun with it…
Basic cross stitch x’s are used throughout this entire piece, as well as some back stitching, as noted on the chart. This was completely charted in DMC- and all colors picked to stitch in DMC. However- I’ve picked my favorite suggested threads- that are complimenting colors that will lend to a “painterly look” by giving shadows and highlights throughout the piece, but by all means- this is all yours and you, so have some fun with colors!!!
And there are the basics!!! The rest is up to you- and by all means- Enjoy each and every stitch!!
Now for the stuff I always need to add into my pattern packets-- Please note!!! I don’t wish for anyone to “adapt” this cross stitch pattern into any other pattern on their own, as it is my design and I will be releasing future patterns using this, including a punch needle design and possible a hooked rug pattern.
Last thing, before you get stitching is do let me know if you need anything!!!!
Thanks So Much & Happy Stitching!!!
Blessings Niki
