In this pattern, I’ve included two different images for your punching or hooking pleasure.. One that is a FULL SIZED stocking, and one that is smaller, for perhaps a smaller project to tackle. Each of the images is ready for you to transfer and have some fun. A small note, however, is that if you would like your stocking, when finished, to face a different direction, then just remember to flip it over- when doing your transfer to the weaver’s cloth.

The large pattern, has four pieces, four pages, each on a different sheet of paper.. Two of the pages are for the actual stocking template to cut materials, etc., and two have the actual design to transfer to your weaver’s cloth. Once printed, just cut on the lines, and line them up and tape together, before you transfer. Be careful to not only line up the outside stocking lines, but also the actual parts in the design. Tape together- and do your transfer. You will need a fat quarter of weaver’s cloth to do the full sized stocking. Less if you do the smaller. And you’ll need a full fat quarter of backing fabric. I used wool. For the lining, you’ll need two fat quarters or a half yard. Either way. I used Osnaburg fabric for my lining. You’ll need the same amount of fusible webbing to fuse pieces together as instructed.

The finished size of this large full sized stocking is 18” tall, by 5 ½” wide and then 9 ¾” from toe to heel. The perfect size for a fully functional Christmas stocking.
