New for 2014, Christmas Blessings- Horse And Sleigh
Cross Stitch Pattern Packet
This Is For The INSTANT DOWNLOAD Version. If you have no way of printing your own patterns, by all means- please just contact me, and I'll be happy to help, in getting you a printed and mailed version.
This pattern was stitched with 2 threads over 2, on a coffee stained 32 count Belfast Zwiegart Linen. Just gorgeous!!! You can of course choose any linen you wish, however, keep in mind, that if you use a smaller or a larger count of linen, the finished size will change. I also extra dyed this linen to give it an aged appearance, before and then once done with the total project. Again, this too is a preference of choice.
Basic cross stitch x’s are used throughout this entire piece, as noted on the chart.
I finished this particular project up- as a simple wall hanging, by attaching it to a painted and distressed old wood board. I used black upholstery tacks to attach the piece and a string of old bells on a collar above. There are SO many finishing options for this piece. It’s a rather larger piece, but if do stitch on higher count fabrics, you will have a smaller finished item to work with. Again- all matters of preference, and lots of fun!!!
One more note, as you get to the color chart/key, please note that I stitched this piece mainly with Gentle Arts Threads!!! I charted the design using DMC, and then marked down my Gentle Art Thread choices next to the DMC colors. By all means- this is all yours and you, so have some fun with colors!!!
And… As a bonus to this pattern packet- I’ve included an extra chart- one of which I did not stitch, as the whole design is the same- but I changed the lettering.. The bonus chart simply reads- “Winter Blessings”- just in case you wish to stitch that version instead and leave out all winter long. I do hope you enjoy this extra bonus!!!
Please note!!! I don’t wish for anyone to “adapt” this cross stitch pattern into any other pattern on their own, as it is my design and I will be releasing future patterns using this, including a punch needle design and possible a hooked rug pattern. If you’ve any questions regarding this- please do let me know….
Last thing, before you get stitching- is that if you’d like to order linens, threads, just send me an email, visit me online, and/or find me on facebook!!! I sell and carry almost all supplies used for each pattern I make…
Thanks So Much & Happy Stitching!!!
